Saving Private Donna!

Thanks to Elvis being a 1st time mum, she only managed to hatch 2 eggs out of 6. Each time the other chooks go into the coop to lay their eggs, Elvis collects them and sit on them as well, leaving the duck eggs out. We had to check and make sure she's sitting on the right eggs each night when we collect the eggs.

One duck egg had pep but it had been out in the cold. Craig place it in the oven to bring it up to the right temperature before putting it into the incubator.

this little fighter was saved and her name is Donna :)
